Why sponsor Public Sector ICT 2009?
The value proposition for sponsorsOur sole aim for solution providers at PSICT 2009 is to deliver direct access to delegates who are responsible for live projects with defined budgets. Typically they will be senior managers (‘pain feelers' or ‘project sponsors') with an implementation or upgrade deadline within the next 18 months.
Our delegates are looking for a solution that meets a key business requirement. This is likely to be an absolute imperative for their organisation and as such they will control a corresponding level of budget and occupy a senior management position. Over the two days they will have up to ten one-to-one consultations with solution providers, in addition they will hear case-studies and presentations around similar projects and network with their peers.
Because we know our delegates are sourcing solutions, an intensive two days of meetings is as of much value to them as the conference programme. They will expect these meetings to save them valuable time investigating the marketplace. Instead of sifting through marketing collateral, issuing RFI's and engaging in sometimes mismatched meetings, our delegates will quickly evaluate and engage with the serious solution providers.
The result is that both sponsors and delegates are able to identify and shortlist companies with whom they wish to arrange follow up meetings and leave with a clearer understanding of who they might and do business with.
How does it work in practice?
- Once you decide to take part your logo and profile will be added to the dedicated event website and your company will be positioned accordingly in all the event marketing collateral and on-site signage
- We will invite you to submit a particular delegate profile or wish list. You may decide to let us get on with the delegate acquisition, or you may wish to ask us to concentrate on particular organisations or even individuals who you have identified as key targets. Being an independent third party event organiser, we are often able to attract certain people that your in-house sales and marketing channels can't reach effectively
- Ten days prior to the event we will send you the data concerning the delegates registered, including full project and budgetary details
- You will have one week to research the data, after which we will need you to make your meeting selections online
- Three days prior to the event you will receive your individual schedule for the two days of the event
- You will have a separate purpose built meeting area with dressed tables and chairs
- We will have the support of the event management team and a dedicated team member will be assigned to look after you and will facilitate all the introductions in your meeting area
- The meetings will not take place at the same time as the speaker and workshop sessions, so there will be no conflict of the delegates' time
- Your representatives will encouraged to network outside of the specific meeting times and will be able to attend the workshop sessions
- Your representatives will be invited to attend the networking drinks reception followed by a networking dinner at the end of day one
We limit the number of sponsors, so if you want your solution to be considered please contact George Rutter on +44 (0)20 7549 2556 or grutter@ark-group.com.
What our sponsors said in 2008:
"Just a quick note to say that the sales people from Sun really enjoyed the Public Sector ICT event that you put together on 4/5 November. I think it was a worthwhile investment of marketing budget and resource. I am confident that we will see a healthy return."
