Why attend Public Sector ICT 2009?
At the heart of PSICT 2009 is a two-day conference programme comprised of strategic keynote speeches, as well as two distinct workshop streams, one analysing Strategies for Efficiency and Sustainability and the other examining Implementation of Systems and Technology. Over the course of the two days that you will spend at PSICT 2009, our panel of expert speakers will examine the major strategic, implementation and technology issues and uncover ‘best practice' and leading edge innovation to tackle the key challenges that public sector ICT professionals are facing, including:
- Complying with the Code of Connection (CoCo): what are the steps you need to take? (swap out if workshop not confirmed)
- Assuring and securing public sector information to avoid a public sector scandal
- Putting your customer first: customer service leadership for ICT professionals
- Adopting emerging technologies and using them innovatively to encourage citizen engagement and participation
- Reaching citizens and driving cost-efficiencies through the innovative use of Bluetooth technology in a police force
